Youth Success Stories

Meet Spencer Shortland – Torrance

"The One-Stop Center helped me get back on my feet by getting me into this internship with L3 and then a regular job. And now I’m being trained to fill an important position in the defense contractor/aerospace industry. They even want to support me through college and help pay for any certifications I get. Thanks to my case work Yesenia Tercero and the SBWIB, my life is back on track and my future looks bright. I would recommend SBWIB to anyone looking to start their career."

Meet Tristin - Torrance

“I think the helpful and caring staff led me to gain more confidence in myself and my abilities. The South Bay One- Stop helped me achieve my goal of finding a long term job position, along with providing me with job training and knowledge of how to present myself in a professional way.”

Meet Youstina - Torrance

“One-Stop gave me the opportunity to utilize and improve my skills and get a decent position in the field I was interested in.”

Meet Aniesha - Inglewood
