About

The South Bay Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (SBWIB, Inc.), established in 2000, is a 501(c) 3, non-profit corporation that operates as the designated administrator for the South Bay Workforce Investment Board.

 

SBWIB, Inc. administers employment and training programs and serves the 11 cities of the South Bay Workforce Investment Area, which include the cities of Carson, El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, Lawndale, Manhattan Beach,  Redondo Beach, Lomita and Torrance.

Mission

The mission of the SBWIB, Inc. is to collaborate with business, economic development, education, government, labor and community organizations to provide a dynamic, efficient and effective workforce development system that ensures a skilled workforce and a healthy economy in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County.
