Meet Raluca MacTavish - Manhattan Beach


Workforce Challenge:

Manhattan Beach resident Raluca MacTavish was having difficulty gaining employment despite having 15 years of project management experience.

Workforce Solution:

After realizing that she needed to upgrade her project management skills, Raluca discovered that she could get financial assistance through the South Bay One-Stop Center to go back to school.


Outcome and Benefits:

She completed the New Horizons online courses for a Six Sigma and PMP training program and her newly upgraded skills and certifications helped her get her dream job with L3 Communications.
